G-DRAGON: South Korea and China united to fight against the coronavirus.

With the Covid-19 pandemic currently hitting the world, China and South Korea have decided to join forces to raise funds to cope with and fight the coronavirus.

The Korean-Chinese joint media platform KVLY and China’s largest performance agency, FREEGOS Entertainment, will host what is said to be the world’s largest online concert.

Nicknamed “Untact”, it will be the first live streaming concert without physical persons, the We Are The World 2020 event should take place on April 30th.

The theme of the concert is “Let’s Fight the Global Crisis of Coronavirus”

It has been reported that the event received investments from NetEase Music, one of the main Chinese music platforms with more than 900 million users, and from VT GMP, better known for its collaboration with BTS.

The concert was viewed by some as the Asian version of the 1985 global sensation, We Are The World, which was organized to raise funds for Africa.

Viewers around the world should be able to watch the concert live on YouTube.

The concert will feature a formidable group of artists from both countries.

Jay Chou and Jacky Cheung will lead the group of 10 Chinese artists, while G-DRAGON should headline Korea.

Viewers will also be able to donate to help support the Covid-19 pandemic relief efforts during the concert.
