AILEE, NEWKIDD, RAVI: Asia’s collaboration against the virus

The best singers from six Asian countries have joined forces to defeat the Coronavirus.

Eight famous singers from Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and Korea will release the song from the global project “ME ME WE (I, You, We)” to defeat Covid19. The album, joined by Warner Music and Gangnam-gu Office, will be released simultaneously in six Asian countries.

ME ME WE” is a message of hope for people around the world suffering from the Covid19 virus. With artists from six Asian countries singing with one voice, synergy is expected as the voices of the singers are combined with bright and refreshing melodies and hopeful lyrics.

In Korea, singers AILEE and RAVI participated, as well as the rising idol group NEWKIDD added their voices. AILEE, RAVI and NEWKIDD, who participated as Korean representatives in this album, helped in the form of a gift of talents during the news of the production of Overcoming Song.

Among the Asian singers were Indonesian R&B artist Rahmania Astini, Malaysian singer-songwriter Aizat Amdan, popular Vietnamese group Chillies, Thai artist Pam and best Filipino rapper Quest. All participating artists are considered to be talented musicians whose skills have been verified in each country.

In addition to that, the American producer MZMC, who produced EXO, Red Velvet, SHINee and NCT, took care of producing the song and reinforced it. In addition to EXO’s “Ko Ko Bop”, “Tempo” and “Love Shot”, MZMC is the main creator of many K-pop songs. Thanks to his collaboration with the idol group Korean Wave, he was recognized for his skills. Due to the consequences of Covid19, the recording was done collaboratively, that is, the singers from each country recorded locally and sent to Korean producers.

The song “ME ME WE” will be released on various online music sites in late July.
