EXO: D.O and XIUMIN open the teaser ball

EXO will make its comeback on June 7th with its album “DON’T FIGHT THE FEELING“. Today the first individual teaser photos have been released, and reveal the members D.O and XIUMIN.

The pictures take us into space: the red background for D.O. contrasts with the blue world of XIUMIN. The photos are playing with obscurity, the atmosphere seems rather disturbing. The two members seem to be in a hostile environment they do not know, which matches the description of the photo on EXO‘s SNS “EPISODE 01. EMERGENCY LANDING“.
These first photos open the way to a series of teasers planned until June 7, release date of the album “DON’T FIGHT THE FEELING“. This album comes 1 year and 6 months after “OBSESSION“, the last album of EXO, released back in November 2019.

XIUMIN

D.O, whose real name is DO KYUNGSOO was revealed as EXO‘s main singer with the song “What is Love” in 2012. Gaining a lot of popularity in the musical industry with his unique tone, D.O simultaneously started an acting career with the movie “Cart” in 2014. His excellent acting skills allowed him to play a variety of roles in the films “My Annoying Brother“, “Along With the Gods” or in the dramas “100 Days My Prince” , “Hello Monster” and to win several awards including “Best New Actor” at the 35th Blue Dragon Film Awards in 2017. Since the end of his military service in January 2021, D.O has been quite quiet and has not appeared too much in public.

XIUMIN, whose real name is KIM MINSEOK, started with the group EXO in 2012 and the group quickly gained popularity around the world with its hit songs “Growl“, “Overdose” or even “Ko ko bop“. Besides his EXO‘s activities, XIUMIN has lent his voice to multiple soundtracks, but he has also participated in many reality TV shows such as “It‘s Dangerous Beyond the Blankets“. Since the end of his military service in December 2020, XIUMIN has been very busy. He held several fan meetings with his fans, and has also recently been confirmed in the cast of the Korean remake of the famous musical “Hadestown“.
