SEVENTEEN: Three AAA’s awards

The SEVENTEEN group (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, Dogyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino) received three awards, including the grand prize, at the 2021 AAA.

SEVENTEEN has won trophies in several categories “AAA Singer of the Year“, “AAA Best Producer” and “AAA Fabulous“, one of the grand prizes of the Asian Artist Awards 2021 held in the afternoon of the 2 December. This proved the strong power of the “kpop to the international” as well as the potential of the “original self-produced idols”.

SEVENTEEN, named “AAA Singer of the Year” and “AAA Fabulous” award winners, said:

“We sincerely thank you for giving us such a great award. We are really happy that the group is loved by many people during our activities and can give a lot of love and strength to many people. We won’t take this for granted and keep it in mind. We will try our best to become a great group in the future.”

WOOZI, who won the “AAA Best Producer”, said: “I am deeply moved to receive an award, with such a big name. Thank you for this great price. I am very grateful to the CARAT (band fans) who always love our music and to the members. As I know this is an award for my hard work, I will reward you with better music,” enjoying the joy of winning the award with the warm support of SEVENTEEN’s members.

SEVENTEEN created a passionate energy and a deeper atmosphere with the newly released title track “Rock with you” with a more rock feel. SEVENTEEN, who then morphed into a race car racer, performed strong performances with “Crush” and “Anyone,” with powerful vocals skills, beautifully decorating the end stage of the 2021 AAA.

SEVENTEEN became the only artist to achieve the title of consecutive “fifth million seller” with his ninth mini-album “ATTACCA” released in October and to record a second consecutive “million seller” for 2021. Not only did the album surpass 2 million cumulative sales, setting another record, but it has also surpassed 10 million cumulative domestic album sales in the six years and six months since its debut, achieving remarkable results amid endless growth.

SEVENTEEN, who spoke about the different moments of love that one can encounter in life through the project “Power of Love” in 2021, will release the special Japanese single “あいのちから”, which will mark the grand finale of the project, December 8th.
