BTS: Even JIN is surprised (almost uncomfortable)

Critics point out that the price of the pajamas that JIN of the BTS group participated in for a project, is high.

On January 3, HYBE, BTS’s agency, released images of pajamas and pillows that JIN helped design through the global community Weverse Shop.

However, once the price was known, fans got rowdy. Both models of pajamas cost 119,000 won (About 90 euros / 85 Dollars) each. It was pointed out that the material is cotton, not cashmere or silk, which are high-end materials, making it high in price. The price of the pillow is 69,000 won (53 euros / 50 dollars).

JIN said in a pre-promotion video, “I just imagined it, but I think a good product came out because the most qualified people helped me.” However, once the price was known, JIN also showed signs of embarrassment as did his fans. He said on Weverse that day:

“I asked you to use pajamas and good materials, but at what cost … I was surprised too”

Domestic and overseas fans also responded, “The price is too high,” retweeting HYBE’s tweet announcing the product’s release.

The negative reactions from fans were also directed towards the old MD products from HYBE. Fans have complained about the completeness of the auxiliary batteries and cassettes.

On the flip side, fans also complain about the focus on launching MD rather than the completeness of the music itself.
