DAYBREAK x LUCY: An unusual collaboration

The groups DAYBREAK and LUCY will release a song in collaboration.

DAYBREAK and LUCY released a video teaser of their collaboration music via their respective social media service on March 24.

In the video, photos of members of each group and group photos appeared one after another, and a parody of the introduction of music programs did the same, attracting attention. In particular, the phrases “Part 1 2022.03.31 6PM” and “Part 2 2022.04.07 6PM” appeared at the end of the video, raising fans’ expectations by posting the collaboration song’s release date twice.

This collaboration is a new type of collaborative musical project in which DAYBREAK and LUCY present themselves with songs and arrange them with their own colors. There is growing curiosity about the synergy DAYBREAK and LUCY will show, who previously displayed different colors of music as a group.

DAYBREAK has established itself as a nationwide group since its debut in 2007, releasing numerous hits across generations and tastes, such as “좋다,” “Love actually,” and “Flower road.” Additionally, he continued his milestones, including a memorial performance at the Blue Dragon Film Festival, a torch relay tour at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, and victory at the Seoul Music Awards.

Band LUCY is a group that finished second in the first season of JTBC’s “Super Band” and is receiving great love for releasing group-specific color albums as well as pursuing solo performances.

The first collaboration song between DAYBREAK and LUCY will be released at 6 p.m. KST on March 31.
