ATEEZ: A first teaser for « Guerrilla »!
Today at 1 p.m. KST, ATEEZ released the first teaser of « Guerrilla » music video on its SNS.
On July 26, ATEEZ released its promotional schedule’s fourth surprise. It’s the first teaser for « Guerrilla » music video, the new album’s title track. This new video follows the two trailers released a few weeks ago.
In these trailers, we could see ATEEZ members (HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG, JONGHO) carrying out several actions to launch their revolt. The members used art to bring emotions back to life in a world where they’re banned.
This new teaser opens with a team of five setting up a speaker. The latter plays classical music, and precisely Opera, in front of the city, something forbidden in this dystopian world. You can also find many airships seen in the first two trailers but also in the performance of « 리듬 타 (The Awakening of Summer) » for the show « KINGDOM : legendary war ». The latter ‘protect’ and monitor the city from any actions contrary to the rules.
This new video ends with one of the team’s members, who turn out to be HONGJOONG. As we can see, their enemies are actively looking for ATEEZ members, and their faces are on all the posters. Therefore, HONGJOONG is pushed to hide his identity to continue the revolt.
As soon as the latter appears, we can hear the introduction of the performance of « WAVE: Overture » for « KINGDOM : legendary war » before the « Guerrilla » preview discovered in the performance preview. We find, once again, HONGJOONG uses Scream, a vocal technique from hard rock and metal, to convey a message: « BREAK THE WALL ». We already heard this vocal prowess in his rap part released in the performance preview.
Thus, this first mysterious teaser deeply intrigues fans and increases the expectation around this comeback, which is fast approaching. In addition, there is one last surprise planned by the group. Fans could expect a second teaser to know even more about this new series which promises to be intense.
In parallel, ATEEZ announced on July 23 its participation in ISAC 2022 (Idol Star Athletics Championship). The sports program will be film on July 30 and August 1 and will air during the autumn holidays in South Korea. Also, ATEEZ was announced in KPOP LAND’s lineup. This festival will be held on September 16 at GBK Madya Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia. A busy schedule for the group before its new world tour’s start!
Finally, ATEEZ will release « THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT » album on 29 July at 1 p.m.
