BTOB: PENIEL stops his activities for an operation

The artist, PENIEL must suspend his activities following an injury.

The Cube Entertainment agency informs us, thanks to a press release, that the artist PENIEL, member of the BTOB group, must stop his activities and have surgery on August 12th. Indeed during an exercise PENIEL injured his ankle and must undergo an operation of the Achilles tendon.

“It’s Cube Entertainment.

BTOB member PENIEL is temporarily suspended due to an ankle injury.

PENIEL was taken to hospital for an ankle injury during exercise on the night of the 10th and received emergency treatment with a thorough examination.

Following the test, the operation was decided today (12) based on the judgment of the medical staff that the operation was unavoidable due to the ruptured Achilles tendon.

Since the health of the artist must be a priority, we have decided to stop the future program of PENIEL for a while and focus on recovering from his injury.

In response, PENIEL would like to inform you that BTOB’s group and personal activities will be suspended for some time until his ankle injury recovers.

We are sorry to have worried the fans. We will do our best for the recovery of PENIEL.
