Le 15 août, le rappeur PARK JAE BEOM a publié un long post sur ses SNS officiels, en publiant une vidéo liée au Jour de la Libération produite avec H1GHR Music pour marquer le 77e anniversaire du Jour de la Libération. Dans la vidéo, PARK JAE BEOM porte un hanbok et danse et chante.

Il a écrit en anglais : « Resources and artifacts stolen from or destroyed. The Korean culture and Traditions were in danger of being eliminated. Made us change our last names and the Korean language was banned all together at one point in time. Enslaved, killed , tortured , experimented on, raped, oppressed, tooken advantage of and always getting the short end of the stick on our own land. War breaking out within our own ppl and families torn apart and millions killed. After the Korean war armistice was made South Korea was just as poor if not poorer than North Korea. Many ppl starved to death and resorted to eating dirt. This country has a long deep painful history turned tragedy to triumph by hard work determination and never ending grit “han”. More i learn the more i realize im spoiled as fuck and the more im forever grateful to those who made it possible for me to have this life. The world knows us for entertainment music and film. They will know our story soon as well “ Happy 광복절”.

Le jour de la libération est une fête nationale établie pour commémorer la libération de la Corée. Le 15 août 1945, la Corée a retrouvé la souveraineté du pays qui lui avait été enlevé par le Japon.
