THE FAKULTY 2, the event that will test your knowledge of kpop, your rhythm and your passion. An event completely different from anything you’ve ever seen before, because here, it’s Kpop fans who are the main actors of the event.
“In the near future, THE FAKULTY will open its doors for a second session. Unfortunately in one year things have changed. A catastrophe has occurred destroying a large part of the planet. The survivors have gathered together, creating clans from the different corners of the world.
Getting used to this new life, they try to survive, to educate themselves, to entertain themselves with what they find. Within the clans, small groups emerge in the shadows because each tries to obtain more than the other.
THE FAKULTY is the only vestige of a university remaining in this corner of the world, and attempts to bring together, unite and entertain its students.Even if the infrastructure is not in good condition, everything is done for success. Will this new session keep its promises? The doors of THE FAKULTY will open again!”
The event is presented in several parts, a first which aims to put your knowledge of Kpop and your passion to the test. Tests, quizzes, on kpop, its different generations, its artists.
Can you recognize a group with a simple photo? Do you know the artists of each generation?
The second part focuses on dancing, and there, everyone’s dancing talents will be put to the test.
Do you know the choreographies of all the artists and groups, of all music?
All Kpop fans are welcome, they will be able to participate, only in the “Games” or only in “Random”, or in both.
THE FAKULTY will tell us if you are a big fan of Kpop.
For this second season, the teams become CLANS:
- Rhône fans become the THRONE clan and their color is blue
- Drôme fans become the DÔME clan and their color is red
- Isère fans become the clan of MISÈRE and their color is gray
- The fans of the Loire become the clan of GLORY and their color is green
- Switzerland fans become the ALL-SQUAD clan and their color is white (other countries may join the ranks of the clan)
- Fans outside the Rhône-Alpes departments become the MACHIAVELS clan and their color is yellow
Each participant must wear at least one top in the color of their clan, and will try to be in accordance with the theme of THE FAKULTY – APOCALYPSE. (Be the clan best in line with the theme ;-))
(WARNING: Weapons, even fake ones, are TOTALLY PROHIBITED; the holder may be refused entry without any compensation).
A clan will only be truly complete if it has its EMBLEM and FLAG. Each clan must agree to create its own flag (size 150cm x 120cm) with its emblem inlaid on it. All flags will be hung during the entry ceremony.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the schedule, further and more precise information will be revealed to you throughout the summer on THE FAKULTY‘s Instagram.

THE KONTEST
New for this second edition, a dance cover competition called “THE KONTEST” will take place during the event, selections will take place in advance, a jury with cutting-edge talent will be there to appreciate the performances,all the terms and conditions can be found HERE.
Quick description of the “Dance Cover” competition: Be a crew made up of 3 to 13 people, pre-selected by sending a cover video with a dance duration of 1 minute minimum to 1’30 minutes maximum. Free song of choice. Seven crews will be selected for the final on the day of THE FAKULTY 2, they will have to perform on a MIX of songs (part of the pre-selection song being part of the mix) lasting a maximum of 4’30 minutes. A jury (80%) and the public present (20%) will choose the big winner by secret votes.
During this competition, everything will be taken into account: The staging, the choreography, the synchronization, the originality, the alchemy between the members, the outfits… The public present will not be aware of the time of your performance, it will be up to the crew to attract attention!
