On 6 September, group PENTAGON held its showcase in front of the journalists at the YES 24 Hall, for its comeback with its 4th mini-album “DEMO_01“.
Following the broadcast of an opening video introducing the members and featuring an excerpt from its last song “When I Was in Love (설렘 이라는 것)”, which was unveiled last week, the group begins the showcase by performing on this one. In a magnificent staging – the members standing on elevated squares surrounding their logo – the ballad shows the vocal capacities of the members with high notes offered by the two main vocals, Hui and Jinho.
After this performance, PENTAGON introduce themselves, then talk about their album, the various preparations, but also what differentiates this comeback from others.
The making of and the MV of their song “Like This” are broadcasted and the young men then perform on it. In their costumes, they deliver to the journalists a performance more masculine than they had been able to show in their previous songs.
Then follows the phototime which starts with the leader Hui, and goes from the oldest to the youngest: Jinho, HongSeok, E’Dawn, Shinwon, Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino and finally Wooseok.
The members then take the time to answer questions from journalists. E’Dawn mentions that he is still close to HyunA since the Triple H trio and that she encourages them very much, telling them that this song was fine and that the result was beautiful. They held several concerts in different countries like Japan, Taiwan or Thailand and they saw that the fans were waiting for them. One of the reason why they made a comeback so quickly.
