The new BTS’ album will include 20 tracks and a collaboration (called feat in the musical universe) of the most surprising!

It was Monday February 17th at midnight KST that Bighit Entertainment, the agency of the group, published the list of new music that will include the album of BTS, one of the most popular bands at the moment in South Korea and which has made an international name in recent years.
This new album, named “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” is the continuation of the first opus of their series “MAP OF THE SOUL” named “MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA“. The names of the albums are not chosen at random since they illustrate the theory of the psychoanalyst MURRAY STEIN based on the study of doctor Carl Jung, whose name is Jungnian psychology and which can be found in his book ” Jung’s Map Of The Soul: An Introduction “.
The Swiss psychologist (Carl Jung) is the founder of analytical psychology and in particular on the belief of four archetypes of the human spirit, which allow to form the Self (therefore the personality) of each individual: the Persona, the Shadow, the Anima and the Ego. To learn more about this theory, we invite you to visit various psychological study sites.
Thus, it is not surprising to find several music titles having for name one of the four archetypes studied by doctor Jung (in addition to that of the album itself). We thus find their old music called “Intro: Persona” as well as the two music already released, in order to promote the album, whose name is “Interlude: Shadow” which therefore represents the archetype of shadow ( since shadow is the English word for this term), and “Outro: Ego“. As you can see on the music list, released yesterday by the group’s agency.

We can therefore say that the album keeps this inspiration as a theme and this time illustrates the dark sides of individuals, therefore the shadow.
In addition to containing cultural references, the album includes five old titles from the first opus in the series which are: “Intro: Persona“, “Boy With Luv feat Halsey“, “Make It Right“, “Jamais vu” and “Dionysus“. Which announces fifteen new music for this album.
With the revelation of the tracks, BTS also unveils its new collaboration which will also be their title song, it is track 11 of the album and is called “ON“, it is therefore with SIA that the members of the group will sing for this comeback. Collaboration that the singer is eager to share on her social networks.
You will be able to listen to this collaboration in digital only, on February 21st on the international listening platforms, that is the day of the release of the new album. But, it will not be available until February 28th on Korean listening platforms, Bighit Entertainment wants, in fact, to show their popularity internationally and thus encourage radios to broadcast their songs.
On the occasion of their comeback, the boys will participate in an interview on February 21st at the “Today Show” which is a morning show in the United States and will perform at “The Tonight Show” by Jimmy Fallon their titles “ON” and ” Black Swan “, this show will take place at the Grand Central Terminal in New York and will be broadcast on February 24th.
