Jazz pianist KIM GA ON appeared on “House Husband Season 2” on KBS 2TV.
KIM GA ON appeared in “House Husband Season 2” with his wife Kang Sung-yeon to garner sympathy from viewers with the realistic appearance of a working couple. In the program aired that day, KIM GA ON caught the eye by filming an online conference at home because of the Covid-19. However, KIM GA ON, who noticed that it was difficult to film at home with the children, took special measures by asking his wife Kang Sung-yeon to take a walk with the children.
KIM GA ON, who completed his online conference with the help of his wife, began to chat with Kang Sung-yeon, who returned from the ride, about his future professional activities. While Kang Sung-yeon was trying to dismiss a drama that she wanted to play with her children in mind, KIM GA ON said, “It is good for children to play with their parents at home, but it is also important to show them later that their parents lived so hard.” Kang, however, was deeply troubled by her late return home and her apologies for her in-laws.
While talking about work, the two protagonists seemed to have personal conflicts and drew the sympathy of the working couples. Since then, the two, who understood the difficulties of the other when talking about their role as interpreter and actor, were touched by the appearance of KIM GA ON who contacted his parents to ask for help.
Kang Sung-yeon, who decided to be active with the support of her in-laws, said, “Kim Ga-on never said that before, but I’m really trying to believe it this time,” posting the appearance of a couple becoming stronger.
After graduating from Seoul National University, KIM GA ON specialized in jazz piano at the Berkeley School of Music and at NYU, and was active in the United States. He returned home in 2008 and started working in Korea.
“House Husband season 2”, with KIM GA ON and Kang Sung-yeon, is broadcast every Saturday evening at 9:15 pm on KBS 2TV.
