On April 24th, the NEONPUNCH‘s A100 agency said: “The girls’ group NEONPUNCH has formed a new unit and is expected to make a comeback in late June with a new and changed look.“
A100 agency then said, “DOHE, a member of NEONPUNCH, is currently in a difficult position to work due to personal reasons, and MAY, who turned 20 this year, has decided to focus on her studies and take a break, which inevitably makes it difficult for both members to participate in this activity.”
Consequently, A100 added: “We are planning a new activity in unity at the end of June with the three members present from NEONPUNCH, DAEYON, BAEKAH, IAN, and we ask for your support and your interest in this new unity.”
NEONPUNCH debuted in 2018 with “Moonlight” and is loved for simultaneously portraying a sporty and pure girl. The group also continued its activities in January 2019 by showing its unique charm with the title song “Tic toc” from its second mini-album “WATCH OUT“.
NEONPUNCH is expected to return in late June as a new unit, and has intensified preparations to meet working fans with improved skills.
