This Friday, June 12th, 2020, a special MV was posted on the Ateam entertainment‘s YouTube channel. This is a gift from LOU, who wrote and produced this music for the VAMPZs.
Although the members of VAV had posted some spoilers on their respective SNS as well as on the mysterious twitter account of CASH, their pet, VAMPZ didn’t expect this special MV from the group. Expecting a comeback that’s supposedly planned for this summer, fans were surprised to learn only half an hour before its release that a new MV was going to be released. The information was revealed during a live performance of BARON and ST.VAN on the VAV app, the group’s application where they regularly make lives, communicate with fans and share different content.
The song, titled “You taught me love“, was written and composed in its entirety by LOU, the second youngest member of the group. The latter said during a session on Vlive to have composed this song after watching the film “A star is born” directed by Bradley Cooper. He dedicated this song to the fans, as ACE had done previously with “Sweet heart” one of the titles present in their last album “POISON“; and ST.VAN even earlier with the song “I’m sorry” in the album “THRILLA KILLA“.
This song had already been performed on stage during certain dates, notably during their Grand America tour and played during the different lives of LOU, but no studio version had been posted until now. Indeed, it seems that VAV has the habit of attributing one of their titles to one of their tours in a continent. Europe was entitled to the performance of “I’m sorry” before its release, so it was the turn of the United States to have been entitled to listen to “You taught me love” on stage.
