While the footage was in 2017, the movie hasn’t been released yet.
The movie “THE SWORDSMAN” that the rapper and vocalist of the KPOP band BTOB, LEE MIN HYUK, made in 2017, hasn’t been released until now. The reason seems to be financial, according to WIKIPEDIA.
Problems that seem to be solved considerint the fast that a date has finally been announced for the release. First on September 17th, the movie will be released on September 23rd (delayed due to Covid-19 pandemia).
The very first teaser has been published yesterday.
The movie tells the history of swordsmen under JOSEON Korean Dynasty and during the transition period between two chinese dynasty : from MING to QING. LEE MIN HYUK has the role of a bodyguard and makes his debuts on big screens.
To realise this movie, the actors had to train for 4 months to martial arts. The movie is going to be released on September 23rd.
