Pocketdol Studio said on its official SNS on September 25th that the name of the rookie group is BAE173. With this announcement the group posted photos of the members.
The nine members pictured, DOHA, JUNSEO, MUZIN, HANGYUL, J-MIN, YOUNGSEO, BIT, YUJUN and DOHYUN look at the camera in various poses, showing off their individual charms which are different from the individual profile photos that were previously unveiled.
The new boy group BAE173 was born by combining the numbers “1” and “73”, with the abbreviation “BAE”, which stands for “Before Anyone Else“, the number “1”, which stands for perfection, and the lucky number “73”. The group has the ambition to become the most perfect group for fans, with their involvement and desire to be the first group with endless possibilities and skills.
The logo, which was released with the group’s name, also expressed the numbers “1, 7, 3” implicitly and turned them into lightning-shaped symbols, and raised expectations, meaning they will bring new shock to the K-pop scene with music, visuals and performances from BAE173.
Last year, Pocket dol Studio announced that it was preparing to launch its next beginner boy group. Starting with NAM DO HYUN on September 4th, she went on to post the profile pictures of BIT, DOHA, YOUNGSEO, MUZIN, J-MIN, YOOJUN, JUNSEO and HANGYUL each in turn.
BAE173 is expected to debut in the second half of this year.
