GOT7, male group of kpop and formed by the agency JYP Entertainment, officially begins in 2014 with seven members from different countries such as South Korea, the United States, China and Thailand. An international group that will stand out with a style mixing dance and martial arts innovative and new in the world of kpop as well as unique voices that match perfectly alternating rap and song.
GOT7 and its members having signed a contract with their agency for a period of seven years, the end of it has been announced for the beginning of the year 2021 and arouses great interest in the future of the group and its members. Several announcements of departure circulated on social networks and were relayed by the international kpop community, commented by the official fans of the group, the iGOT7. However, no official announcement was made by the members or by the agency itself. Possible departures of two artists were shared, a departure of JINYOUNG for BH Entertainment, a famous Korean acting agency, has been spread after posts claiming the agency contacted JINYOUNG. BH Entertainment responded to this news announcement saying no exclusive contracts have been signed .“We haven’t heard about anything related to an exclusive contract.”

The agency JYP Entertainment also wanted to speak by announcing that following the upcoming end of GOT7‘s contract, the agency was in discussions with all the members about the future.
“It’s true that GOT7’s exclusive contract will expire in January 2021. We are discussing various future plans with the members.”

After this announcement, a departure concerning YUGYEOM shook the web, a possible departure of the member for the hip-hop and R&B agency AOMG Entertainmentfounded by South Korean singer and rapper Jay Park. Having been contacted by other agencies just like JINYOUNG, no official press release has yet been published.

After a campaign of several weeks in spring 2020, following a message from YOUNGJAE on his networks concerning security and the measures taken to protect the group and its members, the iGOT7 demonstrated for a better treatment of the group and artists sending many messages to their agency JYP Entertainment.
Messages that were not completely heard by the agency according to part of the fandom who claim to support and understand the members in their choice of a possible departure from the agency even if this can lead to the dissolution of the group.
Despite a possible end of GOT7 known to iGOT7 as a group of JYP Entertainment, fans remain open to other prospects for the group and fully support it.
