SOWON: Her new start in her new company

SOWON, former member of the group GFRIEND, will make a new start at IOK Company under her real name KIM SO JUNG.

IOK Company said on August 2nd, “SOWON, who was loved as the frontman of the band ‘GFRIEND’, will change her stage name to KIM SO JUNG and make another leap forward with IOK Company.“

KIM SO JUNG, who made his debut as a member of the group “GFRIEND” in January 2015, has been appreciated by the public with many successes thanks to her varied charms and skills. She also showed off her abilities as a host in MBC Everyone’s “Look at Me” and KBS Joy’s “Trend With Me” in 2018, and won the Beauty Icon category at the 2019 Korea First Brand Grand Prize.

The IOK Company includes Ko Hyun Jung, Kim Haneul, Jo Insung, Jang Seo Hee, Lee Young Ja, Kim Sook, and Jang Yoon Jung. The company recently acquired 100% YNK Entertainment, which includes Kim Hyun Joo and Shin Hye Sun, and established a stronger lineup of actors.
