The French dancers challenged each other around a dance battle kpop!
Bonjour Corée is a French association dedicated to Korean culture. It organizes and promotes events related to South Korea. This Saturday she organized in partnership with the Korean Tourist Office the long-awaited final of the K-Pop Dance Battle x 한류 올림피아드 (Olympiad). This big competition was divided into three categories of candidates, solo dancers, freestyles and finally groups.

What makes the group category special is the stakes of the winner who will have the chance to represent France for the big international final in Seoul. And this, during a trip organized in South Korea in November 2021, trip offered by the Korean National Tourism Office.
To better choose the winners between these talented and motivated dancers, 3 outstanding jurors were chosen and among them were the famous dancer and choreographer OLIVIA who works with several groups including the RISIN crew a famous Parisian cover group.
The other jurors accompanying her are none other than the president of Bonjour Corée and the director of the RISIN Crew, Jayson.

Each participant showed his talents with his little personal touch, the candidates played the game well by facing each other and provoking their opponent while dancing making the choice of jurors even more difficult.
Finally, after several rounds on different KPOP songs like SHINEE, ATEEZ or BTS, the jury decided and the band that will fly to South Korea is the band NIGHTROSY!
The choice was hard and it was very calm according to the jurors but these 4 girls who represent a whole group knew to take first place and become the French ambassadors for the international final.
Finally, the Kpop community in France is growing and the cover groups are multiplying making the technique and the regularity a priority, it is not a question of interpreting a dance of an artist of kpop anymore but to make it even better with original clothes, a neat decor and a synchronized dance. Before it was simple videos posted on the internet, over the years they became known to all, with millions of views for some going up to be known by the interpreters themselves
