Singer CL has successfully completed her first UK solo pop-up show.
CL hosted the “ALPHA LONDOND POP UP SHOW” on November 30 (local time) at the Village Underground in London, England. As this is CL’s first solo stage in London since her debut, tickets sold like hot cakes due to the enthusiasm of local fans, and the concert hall was moved to a location larger than originally expected.
CL, who appeared in an unconventional outfit, which can be likened to the CL style, with the intense beat of “Dirty vibe” quickly heated the concert hall with her hit songs such as “Baddest female” and “Doctor pepper“.
CL, who continued the scene for about 15 minutes without a break, had little time to communicate with fans. CL said, “Hi GZBz, are you having fun today? This is my first scene in London, and I was waiting for this moment (and you) and I am grateful to you” and continued the performance right away.
In the second half, the performance was filled with new songs such as “Tie a cherry“, “Lover like me“, “Let it” and “Spicy”, which are songs from CL’s debut solo album “ALPHA” released in October.
The concert hall fans sang throughout the performance, regardless of the Korean and English lyrics, and passionately enjoyed CL’s long-awaited first stage in England.
CL, who kicked off her solo debut album project “ALPHA” in August, once again showed a unique presence on various music-broadcast stages in Korea, warming the UK and US at year-end.
CL, who joined 60,000 spectators at the “Head in the Cloud (HITC) Festival” held at Roseball Stadium in Pasadena, California on November 6, made a surprise appearance at the Fashion Awards, the world’s largest event ever fashion show from Great Britain, and attracted attention.
Following the London pop-up show, CL will return to Los Angeles, US, and attend the Jingle Ball Village, a pre-show of the Jingle Ball, the biggest year-end event in the US, on December 3 (local hour ). After that, she will continue her activities, including appearing on local shows.
