MIN YOONGI, lyricist and rapper of the BTS group known by the stage name SUGA, made a donation on his birthday to support those affected by the fires.
On March 9, Song Pil-Ho, association director, Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association revealed that SUGA donated 100 million won (equivalent to approximately 74,000 euros and approximately 81,000 dollars).
This donation aims to support the victims of the forest fires that took place in Uljin, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Samcheok and Gangwon-do on March 7th.
During his donation, YOONGI said, “I hope the donation will be used for those who are suffering from the damage caused by the forest fires.“
In the past, YOONGI had already made a donation to this association. Indeed, in 2020, the rapper had also donated 100 million Won to overcome the COVID-19 crisis in Daegu.
