England and the Korean Cultural Center UK are preparing for their various festivals which will take place in May and June.

First up is the 2022 K-MUSIC SHOWCASE which returns live at Rich Mix London with a spectacular lineup featuring outstanding Korean musical talent alongside the UK Round of the K-Pop World Festival on Sunday 15th May 2022.
The 2022 K-MUSIC SHOWCASE will feature three new waves of K-Music: Alt Hip-hop from Balming Tiger and the modern, vintage Lo-fi sound of SE SO NEON, who will also perform at the Great Escape Festival in Brighton in May. Parisian DJ DIDI Han will also join the showcase to present her mixes of groove house beats to heat up the Rich Mix as she did at the Boiler Room previously.

You will also find on the same day, the UK Round of the K-Pop World Festival which will also take place earlier in the day. The winners of each preliminary round will then have the opportunity to compete for the opportunity to travel to South Korea to perform on Korean television and meet K-Pop idols. Anyone wishing to participate in the competition must submit their application via the web page of KCCUK and anyone wishing to participate as a spectator must confirm their presence on the page Eventbrite.
Next month, you can attend “A Korean Dance Festival from JUNE 17-25, 2022 at The Place.
A Korean dance festival that returns for the 5th year to The Place from June 17 to 25, 2022. This year’s edition invites four acclaimed female choreographers: Jinyeob Cha, Bora Kim, Soo Hyun Hwang and Yunjung Lee, who have set light up the Korean contemporary dance scene.
Bora Kim’s MUAK will open the festival on Friday, June 17 and have another show on June 18. Soo Hyun Hwang and Yunjung Lee will perform a doubleheader performance (Sense of Darkness | Tongue Gymnastics) on Tuesday, June 21. MIIN: Body to Body by Collectif A / Jinyeob Cha will close the festival on Saturday, June 25. There will also be a panel discussion on Friday the 17th before MUAK and post-show discussions for each performance.
