ATEEZ decides to prank its fans on this first day of April.

The group seems to have prepared well for its joke since it started at midnight, KST. Indeed, the famous ATEEZ‘s logo has changed from an opaque black color to a texture in gray and white tiles, which represents transparency in an image. Profile photos have been changed on the group’s various social networks such as YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. The headers, which had been changed after ATEEZ‘s comeback for the album « ZERO : FEVER EPILOGUE », also underwent a transformation, making the members disappear from the image, leaving only the background visible.
We guess very quickly that the purpose of the prank is to make believe that ATEEZ members have disappeared. But the joke does not stop here, there is also a whole staging that has been carried out to explain this disappearance. Indeed, in addition to the simple makeover of its social networks, « informations on ATEEZ‘s activities » were published on the group’s official Fancafe.

It features text in a handwritten font, illustrated with a photo of a broken cromer ; that we find several times in different ATEEZ‘s MVs (like at the end of the MV of « Deja Vu ») which is an element of the group’s storyline.

The joke aroused positive responses from ATINY (fandom) on social media, and also raised questions about the direction, wondering if it could be a spoiler element for the group’s upcoming comeback.
