Nine-member boy group BLANK2Y has confirmed their debut date.

On April 6, its agency Keystone Entertainment stated, “BLANK2Y will be taking their first steps into the music industry on May 24,” adding, “We seek your attention and love for the nine members who are well-qualified like all idols.”
Earlier today, a poster containing the debut date was unveiled on BLANK2Y’s official SNS at midnight KST, drawing enthusiastic responses from fans. In the published poster, nine beams of light emit a strong presence through the gap of the open door, raising questions.
At noon that same day, BLANK2Y’s official fandom name was announced, heating up the mood for their debut. BLANK2Y, who held a name contest for their fandom with domestic and overseas fans on the official fan cafe, chose “K2YWE” from various fandom names. “K2YWE” is a combination of “K2Y” from “BLANK2Y” and “We” from “we in English”, which means “we will be together in the future”.
In particular, the logo work of “K2YWE” is carried out at “DDB Worldwide” under Omnicom, the world’s largest media agency group, enjoying greater comprehensiveness.

BLANK2Y, a nine-boy group comprised of Korean, Japanese, and Chinese members, began breaking new ground last year with YOUNGBIN of Mnet’s “I-Land”, LOUIS of 1THE9, DONGHYUK of ENOi, “Produce X 101” of Mnet, SIWOO from “Wild idol”, MIKEY from “Produce X 101 Japan Season 2”, SUNGJUN from “W project 4”, DK from TVN drama “Hometown cha-cha-cha” and new faces U and SODAM. The name of the group, BLANK2Y, is a combination of “BLANK” and “KEY” and means “key that opens empty space”.
Even before its debut, BLANK2Y received so much attention that online fan pages were established in around 50 regions around the world. Thanks to this popularity, BLANK2Y recently caught the eye by participating as a model and celebrity in a fashion show of a world famous designer. Additionally, The boyz’s “Maverick” dance cover video has reached 1.46 million views based on YouTube views, making us look forward to the performance of the “fourth generation rookies.”
