An idol group including virtual and human members will debut. Deep Studio, a national digital production company, recently released a full photo, announcing the debut of the five-member idol group “SUPERKIND” this summer. Four of them are real people, but one member is virtual. His name is JEONG SAE JIN.
The video teaser featuring JEONG SAE JIN, which was posted as the first article on SUPERKIND’s YouTube account in January this year, has attracted 270,000 views so far. In addition, he actively promotes his content targeting overseas fans by posting JEONG SAEJIN-related content on his Instagram and TikTok accounts.

Deep Studio has also attracted additional investment from Neptune, a domestic game company that recently created the mobile game “Friends Sichuanseong”. After August last year, he received his second investment from Neptune last month, attracting a total of 8.1 billion won. Neptune’s stake in Deep Studio increased from 6% to 20%.
Deep Studio plans to continue introducing content for K-pop fans using SUPERKIND.
Neptune announced that it also secured the rights to produce content using virtual humans produced by Deep Studio through this capital investment. He plans to enter the new venture with Deep Studio, such as creating game content featuring virtual humans such as JEONG SAEJIN and realizing a human-based virtual metaverse space.
Through this, Deep Studio is expected to extend its reach not only to K-POP content, but also to games to increase the use of its own intellectual property (IP).
“Deep Studio’s new approach, which does not follow the general path of success of existing digital humans, is impressive,” said Neptune CEO Yoo Tae-woong.
