Amid reports of talks of an exclusive contract with Big Planet Made on April 11, The agency said told news outlet NewsN:
“It is true that we met REN, but there was no decision on the contract.”
CHOI MIN KI started off on his own after hisexclusive contract with Pledis Entertainment expired in March, finding herself looking for a new agency.
CHOI MIN KI said upon the announcement of the contract expiration:
“It was not easy to make such a decision because we have been together for a long time. Now I’m going to leave NU’EST and walk in a slightly different direction. I think I exist now because of the members and L.O.V.E who believed in me, who missed me a lot and who were with me. I won’t forget this love and walk proudly into the future”.
CHOI MIN KI, who debuted as REN with NU’EST in 2012, was popular for his hit songs such as “Overcome”, “Love Paint“, “Love me” and “I’m in trouble“. The musical actor also showed his talents in “Jamie” and “Hedwig.”
