MAMAMOO’s SOLAR and MOON BYUL have announced unit activities.
MAMAMOO’s RBW agency told Korean media NewsN on August 22:
“MAMAMOO’s SOLAR and MOON BYUL are gearing up for a unit album. We will soon announce the exact release date and details of the new album..”
MAMAMOO, which debuted in 2014, was appreciated for a number of hit songs such as “Mr. Ambiguous“, “Um Oh Ah Ye“, “You’re the best“, “Decalcomanie”, “If I say it’s me“, “Starry night” and “Gogobebe”.
SOLAR and MOON BYUL have appeared together on a number of entertainment programs such as tvN’s “Sixth Sense 2” and KBS 2TV’s “Boss in the mirror“, boasting of a special friendship.
In July last year, the two artists showed off a duet chemistry with “Promise U,” the first song from the “REVIBE” project, which was held to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Vibe’s debut. So expectations are high for the kind of teamwork the two young women will show with their unit activities.
Currently, SOLAR has appeared in the recently concluded musical “Matahari,” and MOON BYUL appears in SBS’s “골 때리는 그녀들.”
