SUNYE and JO KWON singers will work together as a duo.
SUNYE and JO KWON will be releasing “ReBorn Project” Part 16 and “안부 (Anbu)” Remake on August 28.
“Anbu” is a duet song by Byul and Na Yoon Kwon released in 2005, and is still a popular masterpiece among music fans. SUNYE and JO KWON will reinterpret “Anbu” with a 2022 release, shifting from their calm vocals to dynamic vocals that amplify emotions as if speaking.
SUNYE and JO KWON, who have been known as best friends in the entertainment industry for 20 years, will demonstrate their musical synergy by showing perfect harmony through “Anbu.”
SUNYE debuted with Wonder Girls in 2007 and proved her unwavering presence last month after releasing her first solo album “Genuine” in 15 years since her debut. JO KWON debuted as a member of 2am in 2008 and is active in various music scenes. Recently, the full band concert ended.
The “ReBorn Project” is a project that presents various forms of collaboration, such as the meeting of works and musical sources or webtoons, dramas, books and films released previously, with new singers. While retaining the strengths and charms of existing songs, it offers an expanded story through new arrangements.
The 16th opus of the “ReBorn Project,” which is reborn with the charms of SUNYE and JO KWON for the remake song “Anbu,” will be released on various online music sites at 6 p.m. KST on August 28.
