Group KINGDOM has unveiled its newest member HWON.
On August 31, KINGDOM’s agency GF Entertainment posted on its official fan cafe, “HWON, who recently signed an exclusive contract with us, will be joining KINGDOM as a new member.“
The agency stated, “After a long discussion with KINGDOM members, we have decided to add a new member,” adding, “HWON will start working as a member of KINGDOM from the album to be released in second half of this year.“
KINGDOM debuted with its first mini album “History of Kingdom: Part 1. Arthur” in February last year and successfully completed activities for its fourth mini album “History of Kingdom: Part 4”.
They proved themselves to be “global super rookies” by topping five charts including Amazon Music in the United States for the first time as a fourth-generation idol with its title track “Ascension” and ranking sixth on the chart “World Digital Song Sales” from the American Billboard.
