The group CRAVITY has successfully completed its first week of comeback.
CRAVITY (Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyungjun, Taeyoung, and Seongmin) kicked off with Mnet’s “M Countdown,” which aired on the 29th of last month, KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank,” “Show! Champion from MBC. He appeared on SBS’s “Music Core” and “Inkigayo” and performed the comeback scene of its new song “Party rock.”
First, in “M Countdown,” CRAVITY created a youthful feel with a dress style featuring a beret, in a semi-casual suit. The whole scene immediately caught the attention of fans, with the exciting atmosphere and the refreshing mood seeming to turn into a party.
In “Music Bank”, the group expressed the energy of youth with more sporty and active charms. At the “Show! Music Core”, each person freely showed their individuality with a colorful street look.
Finally, through “Inkigayo,” he showed a retro yet vivid image, proving the youthful energy that only CRAVITY can show.
CRAVITY’s fourth mini album “NEW WAVE” is the first new album to be released in six months since part 2 of the full album “LIVERTY: IN OUR COSMOS” released in March. It is an album with the will to create a new wave of K-pop, singing the youth and the growth of CRAVITY.
The title track “Party rock” is of a pop and rock genre that combines funk and EDM elements and is a signature track that properly blasted the positive energy of CRAVITY.
Through this new report, CRAVITY not only surpassed its initial record of over 110,000 copies, but also heralded a successful return to the spotlight of foreign media.
Forbes, an American business magazine, published an article titled “NEW WAVE set to change music direction and the music industry,” expressing global expectations, while K-pop columnist Jeff Benjamin commented, “It clearly shows the young energy of CRAVITY and break the mold by trying new things.“
CRAVITY, which has started its comeback activities with great interest at home and abroad, will continue to meet fans through various musical activities.
