All members of IKON group, who left YG Entertainment, signed an exclusive contract with 143 Entertainment. They will return in April to this new nest.

Following News 1’s coverage on January 1, iKON confirmed that the members had signed an exclusive contract with 143 Entertainment and decided to continue their full-fledged activities.
All iKON members have moved to a new nest due to their strong commitment to group activities. It is said that the decision was made by the members’ thoughts to be more active as an “iKON group” in the future.
In addition, the group iKON name can also be used in the new agency. YG Entertainment and 143 Entertainment agreed to continue with the iKON name.
143 Entertainment, where iKON recently established its nest, is an agency run by rapper-turned-producer Digital Masta (Lee Yong Hak). Digital Masta has been producing hip-hop and idol music since 2000 and is a talented producer in the music industry. iKON has also signed an exclusive contract based on its longstanding friendship and trust with Digital Master. Currently, 143 Entertainment includes three-girl group LIMELIGHT, which debuted this year, as well as Kang Ye Seo and Mashiro, who are active as members of KEP1ER.
iKON, newly nested under 143 Entertainment, plans to release a new album in April. We are currently working on a new album and will be more active in global activities.
Earlier on December 30 last year, YG Entertainment officially announced the expiration of their exclusive contract with iKON. YG Entertainment said, “We sincerely thank iKON for being with us as an artist,” adding, “We will look forward to and support activities in various fields in the future.”
iKON debuted in 2015 and was highly praised with hit songs such as “My type“, “Love scenario“, and “Killing me“. B.I left the group in 2019 and the group was reorganized into a six-member group.
