Hanteo Global (CEO Kwak Young Ho), the organizer of the “Hanteo Music Awards 2022”, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, unveiled its logo and trophy on February 3 and 4.
The Hanteo Music Awards logo expresses fairness and reliability, expressing the differentiated characteristics of them, which are different from other K-pop awards. The lower left side of the logo also contains the history of Hanteo, which has been a music medium for 30 years.
It reflects the history of all media that has moved from LP to tape, from tape to CD and from CD to platform in the form of circles and squares. Hanteo Global explained that this shape, reminiscent of a spotlight, implies that not only artists but also fans and industry officials are at the center of K-pop history.

The Hanteo Music Awards also unveiled a more meaningful trophy as it is the first offline awards ceremony. It means that there is a festival where everyone becomes a star, and this is represented by the shape of the star which is become the light in the trophy. The trophy was designed by Hanteo Global in collaboration with OFOTD.
The trophy combines the logo spotlight to make it become a star. The hollow center of the star embodies the brilliance of light. It also expresses the journey of light created by each as well as its trajectory.
The 2022 Hanteo Music Awards will hold their first offline awards ceremony at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium on the 10th and 11th to mark the 30th anniversary of the Hanteo Chart. The award ceremony will air on SBS M in Korea, and Idol Plus, and in other regions except Japan. Japan will be able to be viewed through Mnet Japan and Mnet Smart+.
