K-pop boy group BLANK2Y with endless growth potential, has been recognized as a rising rookie group.
BLANK2Y opened the doors with a special stage at the 30th anniversary “Hanteo Music Awards 2022” held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul on February 10. First, members LOUIS and DK covered Turbo’s “Twist king” and excited the audience with bright and exciting energy, and all the members left a strong impact with the performance of 2PM’s “Heartbeat”, which has been reinterpreted with a unique zombie dance in the style of BLANK2Y.
BLANK2Y, who won the “Blooming Star Award” for the leading artist of future K-POP, said:
“We thank the officials who gave us a great award. And we want to thank the CEO and the staff who work for us anytime, anywhere, our parents and our fandom. We will continue to work hard, so s please keep an eye on us carefully.”
BLANK2Y then performed “Fuego (Fearless)” from their mini album “K2Y II: PASSION [FUEGO]” released last year. “Fuego (Fearless)” is a song that contains BLANK2Y’s confident message rising to the top, and BLANK2Y generously expressed its presence as a “fourth-generation rising boy group” through the performance.
BLANK2Y, recognized for its infinite growth potential through the “Hanteo Music Awards“, will release a new album in the first half of this year and meet fans for other activities.
