While MAMAMOO member HWASA was blamed by civic groups for her sensational performance at the college festival, the performance HWASA showed at the concert at the time is being re-examined.
According to police on July 10, Seoul’s Seongdong police station is investigating after receiving a complaint from a group of parents of students on July 6 for allegations of pornography in front of the artist’s performance HWASA.
Earlier in May, HWASA exceptionally performed on the festival stage at Sungkyunkwan University’s Humanities and Social Sciences Campus. HWASA, who was standing on stage in pants at the time, pretended to lick her hands with her tongue while squatting with her legs spread to the sides, and stroked certain areas of her body with her fingers. There was also a debate among netizens about this, saying:

HWASA recently left her old agency RBW and built a new nest at PNATION, where singer Psy is at the helm. Regarding the complaint to the police, the agency said it understands that the police are looking into the matter.
