ATEEZ: A refreshing performance for the WATERBOMB Tokyo

Yesterday, July 29, ATEEZ participated in the first edition of « WATERBOMB JAPAN TOUR 2022 » festival in Tokyo. 

After the success of the Korean WATERBOMB festival, the latter organized its first Japanese edition in three cities: Osaka (cancelled by the organizer), Nagoya and Tokyo. For this occasion, ATEEZ was invited to the Tokyo edition, a presence that will have been significantly noticed. KSTATION TV was at the festival and takes you to discover the performance of ATEEZ. 

Awaited by a large number of local and international fans, ATEEZ opened its performance with its latest title « BOUNCY (K-HOT CHILLI PEPPERS) » a title sung in chorus with the public. Next, the group performed a medley of popular songs from its  « FEVER » era including « Good lil boy », « The leader » and « To the beat ». After that, ATEEZ presented « Wave », « Say my name », and « Rocky » before ending with its well-known song « The real ».

A setlist perfectly reflects the atmosphere of this festival and allowed ATEEZ to share complicit moments with the ATINYs (name of the fandom) present on site. Indeed, the group took the time to talk with the fans and share their joy of being present at the WATERBOMB. Additionally, the group members (HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG, JONGHO) got into the festival’s concept by using the water guns on the fans and letting the fans do the same on them. There was a strong connection and energy between the group and their fans, as well as among the members themselves. Indeed, they fully embraced the festival’s concept by spraying each other with water.

ATEEZ once again proved its potential through remarkable and iconic performances while showing a relaxed and close image to its fans. In addition, the group proved its increasing popularity by headlining alongside major K-pop artists like MAMAMOO +, HYUNA, EXO’s CHANYEOL and SEHUN and GOT7’s YUGYEOM.

Finally, ATEEZ will continue its first Asian « THE FELLOWSHIP: BREAK THE WALL » tour on August 5th in Bangkok.
