The title song medley from the group’s new album KINGDOM has been revealed.
KINGDOM (Dann, Arthur, Mujin, Louis, Ivan, Hwon and Jahan) released a medley video of highlights from its seventh mini album, “History of Kingdom: Part Ⅶ. JAHAN“, via its official SNS on October 17 at midnight KST.
The released video contains a total of seven highlights, including INTRO song “APOCALYPSE (終末)“, title song “Coup d’état“, “Love song“, “X-game“, “On my way“, ” 모래성”. ” and “Coup d’état (Inst)“.
Starting with “Apocalypse (終末)”, in which you feel the urgency and speed, various music such as “Coup d’état”, which has an impressive sound of dancing rhythm, “Love song”, which mixes lines sophisticated melodic and pop elements, “X-game” with energetic vibes, “On my way“, which contains KINGDOM’s unique voice color, and “모래성”. ” and “Coup d’état (Inst)“, which are attractive with luscious guitars, caught the ears of listeners.
In particular, KINGDOM member MUJIN participated in the lyrics of the songs “Love song” and “X-game“, revealing his versatile side. The focus is on what kind of music will be shown by KINGDOM, which created the new word “cinematic idol” with its unique worldview of seven kingdoms.
The seven-part “History of Kingdom” is an epic poem between a king trying to awaken as a true king and six kings who come from different eras to help him. This album is the last part of season 1, which has lasted for more than three years, and tells the story of JAHAN, king of the “Kingdom of the Sun”. The music video represents the first K-pop boy idols to film anywhere in India, raising expectations.
