It is with an official press release that Cube Entertainment announces the departure of PENTAGON member, HONG SEOK.
“Hello, we are Cube Entertainment.
First of all, we would like to thank UNIVERSEs (PENTAGON fans) for loving and caring for PENTAGON.
We would like to convey the official position of Cube Entertainment and PENTAGON member HONG SEOK regarding the termination of the exclusivity contract.
We have had enough discussions and conversations about HONG SEOK’s future activities and, therefore, we have decided to terminate the exclusivity contract after mutual consultation.
We are grateful for the hard work of HONG SEOK, who debuted with PENTAGON in 2016 and generously showed his passion and talent as a member within Cube Entertainment, and we will look forward to and encourage the leap forward even more brilliant from HONG SEOK.
Please leave Cube Entertainment and give warm support and encouragement to PENTAGON’s HONG SEOK, who will make a new start.”
It is therefore HONG SEOK who leaves the agency after the departure, at the beginning of October, of the members YEONONE, YAN AN, YUTO, KINO and WOOSEOK, which means that for the moment of all the members of the group PENTAGON only HUI, SHINWON and JINHO remain with the agency currently.
The group PENTAGON made its debut in October 2016 with the title “Gorilla”.
