As the group KOYOTE successfully completed its first performance for its tour, it announced the birth of the concert brand “Koyote Festival“, which will represent Korea.
KOYOTE successfully completed its first performance in Seoul on November 17 at the KBS Arena Hall during the Koyote Festival: Meeting Soonjung (hereinafter referred to as the “Koyote Festival”). The “Koyote Festival” left a great impression on KOYOTE and its fans as it was the first concert brand to be introduced in 25 years since its debut.
KOYOTE, who opened the long journey with the soundtrack of the cartoon “One piece“, “Our dream“, alongside the pirate ship, performed hit songs such as “Passion”, “Disturbance”, “영웅” , “반쪽”, “Wish”, and “Broken heart”. In the concert hall filled with the screams and warmth of the audience, KOYOTE exuded more energy than ever, continuing his passionate singing to melt the freezing cold at once.
In addition to the outdoor dancing-inducing stage, the concert also featured the KOYOTE members wearing school uniforms. Through the VCR video, which is only broadcast at the concert, KOYOTE performed a scene like a pure cartoon “triangular relationship” and even brought a smile in a passionate performance.
Adding to that, KOYOTE said, “My heart is about to explode. This is just the beginning, so please enjoy it until the end. You just have to have fun. There is no ballad we will sing today,” predicting a more special performance, and a dance battle between KIM JEONGMIN and BBAEK GA, which attracted a lot of attention just by the news, took place.
The two showed various dances, including Jeon Somi’s “Fast forward” and “SWF 2’s” “Smoke” challenge, bringing heat to the stage. Among them, KIM JEONGMIN, who watched BBAEK GA‘s “Super shy“, was truly angry and made everyone laugh by saying, “How dare you touch Newjeans?” On the other hand, SHINJI also prepared a Newjeans performance and introduced a “Hype boy” who will be reborn as “ShinJeans”.
Song Haye, Kim Donghyun and Kim Heeseok, appeared as guests that day, adding to the heat. The end of the “Koyote Festival“, which wonderfully integrates excitement and emotion, was under the theme of “Sunjeong”. KOYOTE even expressed his sincerity by saying, “The first snow came today, and it is a more exciting and meaningful day”.
KOYOTE, who finished her first performance in high spirits, will end its Seoul performance at KBS Arena Hall on November 18 and continue its concert tour at the Grand Hall of Cheonma Art Center of Yeungnam University in Daegu on December 2.
