Group TEEN TOP (Chunji, Niel, Ricky and Changjo) will take a new step together.
Agency TOP Media said on December 28, “The exclusive contract period with CHUNJI and RICKY has ended. Regarding the future activities of the TEEN TOP group, we have agreed to be with the four members.“
As a result, CHUNJI and RICKY are leaving TOP Media, who they have been with for around 13 years, going on a solo journey.
However, TOP Media explain that the group’s main activities remain the same. The company stressed that all members will continue to work together through good music, performances and performances, regardless of contract status.
TEEN TOP has already set a good precedent for “separately and together” activities. In July, NIEL and CHANGJO made their comeback after about three years, although they were separated from the agency after their exclusive contracts expired.
Through their album “TEEN TOP 4SHO”, they made various TV appearances, concerts and activities abroad to cheerfully satisfy the long wait of their fans.
The members also strengthened their will to maintain the group through their activities as a whole group after a long time. It is a message that moved the ANGELs (official name of the fandom) at the time of these activities and thus gaining the strength to continue to take the stage as TEEN TOP.
