WOO HYERIM
WONDER GIRLS former member WOO HYE RIM has signed an exclusive contract with Wave Entertainment, the agency announced Monday.

Wave Entertainment is an entertainment agency co-founded by television personalities Tyler Rasch and Julian Quintart. Quintart and Rasch are known for their appearance on the show “Abnormal Summit” (2014-2017), a talk show featuring foreigners living in Korea who discuss society, politics, economics and Korean culture.
WOO HYERIM will be the agency’s first Korean artist, the agency said.
“We would like to break the misunderstanding that only foreigners are allowed to sign with the agency,” Wave Entertainment said in a statement Monday, adding that the agency plans to become a full-fledged entertainment agency.
“We will send endless support to WOO HYERIM, who has constantly challenged herself as a writer, translator and actress after being an active member of WONDER GIRLS,” the agency added.
“I’m really excited to meet my new agency. I will show a more improved side of myself at the new agency.” said WOO HYERIM in a press release.
WOO HYERIM debuted as a member of WONDER GIRLS in 2010 under JYP Entertainment. After WONDER GIRLS ceased operations in 2017, WOO HYERIM has been active as a translator, writer, actress and much more.
