TWS
TWS, which gained attention as “SEVENTEEN’s younger brother group“, will debut its first music broadcast activities starting with “M Countdown”.

TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon and Kyungmin) will appear on Mnet’s “M Countdown” today and perform the title song of its debut mini album, “SPARKLING BLUE“, “첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아” as well as the song “Oh My: 7s.” They will then appear on KBS2’s “Music Bank” on the 26th, MBC’s “Show! Music Core” on the 27th, and SBS’s “Inkigayo” on the 28th to perform the same two songs in a spectacular ceremony.
“첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아” is a hybrid pop song with a catchy melody and bright, refreshing energy. It tells the story of overcoming the vagueness encountered in the excitement of first meeting with expectations for the bright days to come.
In particular, TWS enhanced the pleasure of expressing lyrics such as “Look at my face in the mirror” and “What’s your name?” with witty choreography and delivered a three-dimensional performance with refreshing and powerful charm. The song was released on January 22 and charted on all eight national/regional iTunes charts with strong attention from fans around the world.
“Oh Mymy: 7s” is a song that reflects TWS’s confidence that “I can show you what I look like in just seven seconds“, and it was pre-released on January 2 attracting attention from the beginning. TWS fused the confidence felt in the song’s melody into the choreography. The explosive energy of the powerful group dance, which unfolds tirelessly from start to finish, is excellent.
TWS is determined to prove why it is considered the most anticipated event of the year through music programs. “Music programs are activities that we look forward to the most, because we can fully show our dancing and singing skills that we have been working on. Please look forward to our performances, which will be full of new energy, harmonious teamwork and power,” they said.
TWS takes an unusual step at the same time as its first mini-album “SPARKING BLUE” was released on January 22. The mini album topped the Hanteo Chart’s daily physical album chart on the day of its release and was ranked on the iTunes “Best Album” chart in 15 countries/regions. The title song “첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아” topped the Japanese real-time Rakuten music chart for two consecutive days, and maintained its ranking on major Korean music site Melon “HOT 100” for the fourth day.
TWS operates a pop-up store called “TWS: THE MUSEUM VISITOR” at Hyundai Seoul, called “MZ Generation Pop-up Holy Land” in cooperation with fashion brand The Museum Bitter.
