TAEYONG of the group NCT will join the Navy on April 15.
On March 18, SM Entertainment announced the news of TAEYONG’s enlistment, saying, “There will be no separate official event on the day of admission to the Military Academy, and we ask that you to understand that it will be admitted privately in order to prevent safety accidents caused by site congestion.”
“We ask for constant love and support until the day TAEYONG faithfully fulfills his national defense duty and returns in good health,” it said.
As a result, TAEYONG became the first member of NCT to fulfill his military duty.
TAEYONG also published a handwritten letter.
TAEYONG said, “Every moment has been a very meaningful and happy moment. Thank you for giving me precious and brilliant moments,” adding:
“I will continue to work hard in my military career and learn many things because there are many things I want to do, achieve with the members and my fans. I will become a better me when I return. “
TAEYONG also said, “We grew up proudly together. That’s why I think I will miss you a lot. I will be back safely, so I hope you are all well. I will be back soon.”
