UNICODE, an “all-Japanese K-pop girl group,” will receive support from SHINDONG of SUPER JUNIOR.
According to Double X Entertainment, on April 1, SHINDONG will participate as director in the music video for UNICODE’s first album, “Hello world code: J Ep.1“.
SUPER JUNIOR‘s SHINDONG, who announced his strong support, reportedly directed the music video for UNICODE’s first title song, “돌아봐줄래 Prod. by Jinyoung”, and captured the members’ innocent and fresh visuals with sultry visual beauty.
While producer Jinyoung is mentioned for UNICODE’s first title track, “돌아봐줄래 Prod. by Jinyoung”, SHINDONG is the director of the music video, a solid production is even more expected. With the support of K-pop artists, special attention is paid to what kind of music world UNICODE will develop.
UNICODE’s first title track, “돌아봐줄래 Prod. by Jinyoung”, which features Jinyoung and SHINDONG, showcases the members’ kitsch as a city-pop type song, and ShinDong’s Studio Walala, which worked with artists such as Red Velvet and Celeb Five, helped in the music video.
UNICODE, who will make their debut in the music industry with their first title song “돌아봐줄래 Prod. by Jinyoung” on April 17, is a five-member girl group comprising members selected through ABEMA’s biggest online audition TV “Project K” in Japan in April 2023, and will meet domestic and foreign fans through K-pop.
UNICODE will officially debut with “Hello world code: J Ep.1” at 6 p.m. KST on April 17.
