Kakao Entertainment‘s music platform Melon announced on April 18 that it had created and unveiled the 6th TOMORROW X TOGETHER forest and the 7th NCT forest at Nanji Hangang Park in Seoul through an eco-friendly project called “Forest; Trimming“, which creates forests with the names of artists you support.
Melon, the Seoul Environmental Association and the Future Han River Headquarters of the Seoul Metropolitan Government established the TOMORROW X TOGETHER forest, consisting of three Chinese fringe trees and 400 sacred bamboos, on April 12, as well as the forest of NCT on April 17, with the two hanging out together at Nanji Hangang Park in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Through this, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and NCT, being among the major idol groups, will be able to exert a good influence by introducing the forest named after them.
Fans and citizens can visit the lawn near the Nanji Information Center to visit the TOMORROW X TOGETHER and NCT forests.
“Forest; Trimming” is a project that offers any paid Melon member the opportunity to create a forest named after an artist. When using Melon’s regular payment voucher, if you simply select the name of your favorite artist on the “Forest; Trimming” page, up to 2% of the monthly payment amount will be automatically accrued.
After that, if a total of 20 million won is accumulated for the artist, all the money will be donated to the Seoul Environmental Association to create a forest named after the artist in Seoul. Earlier, “BTS 1st and 2nd Forest“, “Im Young Woong Forest” and “Seventeen 1st and 2nd Forest” attracted attention.
TOMORROW X TOMORROW, who recently released its 6th mini album “minisode 3: TOMORROW“, entered the Melon TOP 100 chart with all the songs from its new album right after its comeback.
