If you didn’t know, CHAN from the group iKON is also going solo with his single “YOU“, released on April 25, 2024. Today, we take a look behind the scenes of this rather shy solo debut.
We find CHAN in the company of BOBBY, who wrote the song and offered it to his friend and colleague, even helping him record the project. We learn later in the video that this is a track that the rapper is particularly fond of, having really wanted to put it on his latest album but not having the space to do so, he preferred to keep it and offer it to his friend, for whom he felt it made more sense.
Joking that he’s the only one of the group not to have released a solo project, he’s proud that it’s the youngest of the group who gets “YOU“.
You can find this delicate but short ballad on the usual secure platforms indicated by 143 Entertainement; Melon, Vibe, Genie ainsi que Spotify. However, a small error on Spotify: the agency added this track to the playlist of another artist who also wear the name CHAN. The iKONICS (fans of the group iKON) have spotted the error and this should be changed in the next few hours.
