TWS
The summer of TWS, where “refreshing beats” roll, begins now.

Major newcomer TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon and Kyung Min) will release a pre-release song “hey! hey!” at 6 p.m. KST today and will preheat its return. This song is one of the tracks from TWS’ second mini album, “SUMMER BEAT!” which will be released on June 24 and is full of its unique refreshing charm and high-teen energy.
◼ TWS story of ‘One Team’…intense sound full of sprint
“Hey! Hey!” is a song about a boy who has always been alone and meets friends who have the same dream and rely on each other to be a team. It is also a metaphor for their commitment and solidarity from the beginning until today and towards the future of TWS. In the song, TWS created “dynamic images of boys running toward their goals without stopping.”
“Hey! Hey!” has a rock style musical color while retaining the “boyhood pop” tone that stimulates beautiful emotions when they were children. The powerful guitar riff and ripping drum sound lead the song’s tempo with a galloping sound, and the TWS members’ refreshing vocal tone creates an atmosphere cool like waves on a summer day. Additionally, energetic chants such as “We don’t stop” add vitality and three-dimensionality to the song.
◼ A performance more exciting and touching than excitement
TWS let the audience know that this is the pinnacle of cool through a teaser of the music video for “Hey! Hey!” on June 3. In this video, which is like a youth film on the concept of summer vacation, the members go on an impromptu trip to build memories together. They take photos while taking off their bags and playing basketball in the street or looking out on the bus. Images of people enjoying their freedom, arms wide open in front of the sea at sunset, convey the pure and beautiful feeling of youth.
It’s also worth looking forward to performances that are organically linked to the music and storytelling. The performance of “Hey! Hey!” complemented by strong teamwork from the six members of TWS, it is expected to create more enthusiasm and overwhelming impression than the excitement one can feel in a sports game. The focus shifts to whether the challenge fever of their debut title track “첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아” will be replicated.
TWS became a “popular rookie” group upon their debut in January, gaining huge popularity with their refreshing music and visuals. Their previous title song, “첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아“, is still topping major music charts four months later, and more than 500,000 copies of the album have been sold based on the “Circle” chart.
