Girl group FIFTY FIFTY will be revamped with five members.
The agency has added four new members to the basic KINA member. “We conducted closed auditions looking for new members to take another step forward,” Attrakt said Monday. “We were finally able to confirm four new members in April, and FIFTY FIFTY will start again with five members, including original member KINA.”
FIFTY FIFTY will officially make its comeback in September. “We are well aware that many people are waiting for the return of FIFTY FIFTY, but the time required for the quality production of the albums and their global marketing is inevitable,” the agency said. “We are preparing to return in September, not June because we promised to show a higher level of completion.”
FIFTY FIFTY charted at number 17 and number 8, respectively, on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and the Official Top 100 Singles Chart in the United Kingdom, with “Cupid” last year. Additionally, the group won the K-pop Song of the Year at the Best Global TikTok Songs 2023 and at the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2024.
