The first single “THIS MAN” by JEONGHAN X WONWOO from the group SEVENTEEN achieves unusual results for a unitary album.

According to the Hanteo Chart on June 21, JEONGHAN X WONWOO‘s “THIS MAN” achieved cumulative record sales of 6,904,009 copies on June 20. This is a new record for the first time in the history of K-pop albums in unit (the first week of sales after the album’s release) within four days of its release. Even though these are two people who constitute a new special unit of SEVENTEEN, the trend in sales volume, as much as that of any other “record”, makes them realize their potential.
The popularity of “THIS MAN” was predicted from the beginning. The album became a “Half million seller” on its release day, and the title song “어젯밤 (Guitar by Park Chuwon)” ranked third on “Worldwide iTunes Song”.
Unit JEONGHAN X WONWOO excited fans around the world by performing “어젯밤 (Guitar by Park Chuwon)” on domestic and international music shows. After performing the song for the first time on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on the 20th, they also appeared on American digital platform Genius’ “Open Mic” on the same day to present a live performance of “어젯밤 ( Guitar by Park Chuwon).”
“THIS MAN” is an album reinterpreted as an original JEONGHAN X WONWOO story, inspired by an urban legend that people around the world witness a man through their dreams. In addition to “어젯밤 (Guitar by Park Chu-won)”, there are a total of three songs, JEONGHAN’s solo song “Beautiful monster” and WONWOO’s solo song “휴지통”.
