Singer ZICO’s “SPOT! (feat. JENNIE)” was a long-term hit on the US Billboard chart.
According to the latest chart released by Billboard on the 25th (local time), ZICO’s digital single “SPOT!” is ranked 70th in the “Global” and 155th in the “Global 200”, marking its eighth consecutive week of presence.
According to Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform, “SPOT!” has been played approximately 90 million times as of June 24. Although two months have passed since the song’s release, the cumulative number of streams has continued to increase, raising awareness of the enthusiastic support from music fans around the world. “SPOT!” is expected to be ZICO’s second song “Billion-Billion-Year Streaming” after “Any song“, which has been played more than 170 million times on “Spotify”.
“SPOT!” is the first song performed this year by ZICO, who celebrated his 10th anniversary as a solo artist, and features the no-nonsense moments of two friends who meet by chance at a late-night party. ZICO showed his talent as an artist and producer by participating in the writing, composition and overall production of the song.
Currently, ZICO is MC of KBS2’s show “The Season’s – Zico’s Artist“, which airs every Friday at 10 p.m. KST, and also works as a representative of his agency KOZ Entertainment.
ZICO was caught up in an absurd rumor linked to “Burning Sun” and reported a “robbery at Goo Hara”. ZICO took a tough stance, declaring legal action as false information spread and malicious comments increased.
